Job Description:

As a Solution Architect specializing in Risk and Compliance, the person will play a critical role in designing and implementing strategic solutions to address regulatory requirements and mitigate risks in the BFSI sector. Leveraging the candidate extensive experience in banking and financial services, the candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect solutions aligned with industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and risk management practices in the BFSI sector.
2. Lead the design and implementation of risk and compliance solutions, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and business objectives.
3. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications and architectural designs.
4. Design and document solution architectures at conceptual, logical, and physical levels, addressing risk and compliance concerns.
5. Provide expertise in microservices architecture, agile methodologies, DevSecOps practices, and cloud platforms (private and public).
6. Define integration strategies and patterns, utilizing technologies such as API, REST, SOAP, MQ, XML, ESB, and gateways.
7. Facilitate communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams, ensuring a clear understanding of architectural decisions and implications.
8. Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
9. Drive innovation and continuous improvement in risk and compliance solutions, staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends.
10. Demonstrate strong business acumen and stakeholder management skills, effectively communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 10 years of overall IT experience, with at least 5 years of experience in solution architecture within the BFSI sector.
2. Strong background in banking, financial services, and insurance, with a focus on risk management and compliance.
3. Experience in designing and implementing risk and compliance solutions, with a minimum of 2 years of banking experience.
4. Proficiency in microservices architecture, agile methodologies, DevSecOps practices, and cloud platforms (private and public).
5. Knowledge of business applications, including channel systems, core banking platforms, integration middleware, and data management solutions.
6. Expertise in integration technologies and protocols, such as API, REST, SOAP, MQ, XML, ESB, and gateways.
7. Proven track record of writing solution architecture deliverables at conceptual, logical, and physical levels.
8. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders and facilitate meetings.
10. Business management skills, with the ability to align technical solutions with business objectives and priorities.
11. Proficiency in Arabic language preferred.

It requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and strong communication skills to drive successful risk and compliance solutions in the BFSI sector.
